International Aviation Snow Symposium 2025

The International Aviation Snow Symposium (I.A.S.S.) is a premier event dedicated to providing comprehensive winter operations training for airports. Certified by the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE), the symposium offers specialized courses through the International Aviation Snow Academy. These courses are designed to educate airport employees, contractors, and service providers on best practices for snow and ice control measures during winter operations.
Participants can enroll in the basic curriculum to gain foundational knowledge and earn a certificate. Advanced courses are available for airport supervisors, managers, and directors, focusing on safe, efficient, and regulatory-compliant winter operations. Graduates of the advanced course earn the distinction of being an “Airport Snow Expert” (A.S.E.) by the AAAE.
The event is held at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center, with accommodations at the Hyatt Regency Buffalo. Attendees are encouraged to explore Buffalo’s vibrant dining and entertainment scene, including the famous Anchor Bar and the revitalized waterfront.
